In August, Henshaws launched an exciting new online learning platform service for business and professionals to access our award winning visual impairment awareness training.
Over 2 million people in the UK are currently living with sight loss, which is expected to rise to 2.9Miliion by 2030, making visual impairment awareness more important than ever before.
For many years, Henshaws have been sharing their expertise in their Visual Impairment Awareness training ( VIAT) course, which is open to anyone. They have now launched for the first time an online e-learning module. The benefits of this new training module including enabling more understanding of sight loss, and the experiences faced by visually impaired people every day, in addition to attracting new customers, setting your business apart and giving you a unique selling point and Demonstrating Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). It is free to attend the 1 hour in person training, online video call session and to access the e-learning module. The course is open to people living/ working in Greater Manchester.
