Young people who want to save the planet - call out for community groups from M6 Theatre
M6’s next original theatre production The Storm, is an innovative creative intervention confronting the climate crisis (and aiming to transform young people’s anxiety into action in the spirit of Greta’s call to action that we are “never too small to make a big difference”)
It will be touring into Rochdale secondary schools with a facilitated workshop engaging 3,000 Year 7 students (funded by RMBC Head of Schools Gillian Barratt) from March to May 2020.
We would really like to produce an accompanying postcard to give to each young participant, signposting to any local voluntary sector groups where they could meet other like-minded individuals who want to make a positive contribution to saving the planet. We will also be including national /international signposting e.g. Friends of the Earth.
