Power of Music Grant

Aims/priorities: There is a wide variety of music activities for people living with dementia and we would welcome applications from providers of all different types of musical offers and services. 

We can fund new activity, however your organisation should already be delivering music activities or working with people living with dementia and carers. We'll also fund those already delivering music activities for people living with dementia.

Your activity should take place between April 2024 – Dec 2026 and be delivering activities to a group of 10 people or more.

Who can apply? You can apply if you are any of the following: 

  • UK constituted voluntary or community organisation
  • UK registered charity
  • UK charitable incorporated organisation (CIO)
  • UK not-for-profit company
  • UK community interest company (CIC)
  • UK statutory body e.g., NHS 
  • A care provider registered with the CQC 

Grant amount: Grants are available of either £1,000 or £2,000 per year, and will be paid in instalments over three years. You can also apply for an additional £1,000 for set-up or equipment costs. 

Application process: Applicants are requested to submit their application online. However, if you would find this difficult, please contact us via email at powerofmusic@nasp.info to discuss other options. We are happy to provide large print versions and alternative language versions of all forms where required. Video applications will be available to small grant applicants on request via powerofmusic@nasp.info.
