Do you have an idea about how to bring people back together following Covid-19?

Are you an existing community group seeking a need for change or wanting to try something new or are you a new emerging group who have noticed a gap or need in your local community as a result of Covid-19? Groundwork, working in partnership with Get Up and Grow and TLC (Talk Listen Change) on the Thriving Communities – Oldham Social Action Fund project are keen to learn about how Covid-19 may have brought about any new ideas that you have identified during and since lockdown.

The project aims to reduce social isolation and loneliness, and improve health and well-being in Oldham by increasing opportunities for local residents to participate in community-led activities and interest groups and we want to hear your views and suggestions. The funding enables Groundwork to offer a limited number of small pots of funding and we welcome the opportunity for conversations as to how we can support your ideas.

As lockdown is slowly lifted, Groundwork want to hear how you have been feeling over this time. Please find a link below to our short survey and we would appreciate any assistance you can give in either completing this and/or distributing to others. If you know someone who does not have digital access and you are able to talk with them and support them to complete the survey via your device, this would be a great help. Now more than ever is a great time to pick up the phone and have a chat with someone, particularly if they are isolated.
