funding update

***FREE webinar - Thursday 29 April at 2pm Register here!

Aims/priorities: The Powering Up programme allows community business leaders and their teams to access specific technical expertise, alongside professional development and wellbeing support. Each package of support will be based on the unique circumstances that community businesses find themselves in, as they adapt to the rapidly changing landscape during the COVID-19 crisis.

Who can apply? The programme is open to any community business in England to apply; however, we will be prioritising support to community businesses in the most deprived areas of England, as well as organisations that are supporting and led by disabled people and/or people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME*) groups.

Grant amount: The support package for community businesses will be tailored, depending on the needs of your organisation. Each organisation will be assigned a Link Worker, their role is to help you access the right support and they will be available to resolve any issues along the way.

This support can include: digitising your services and/or your internal systems, adapting or developing your business model, human resources advice including employment, redundancy and furlough, health and safety advice including Covid-19 compliance, financial planning including managing cashflow, crisis and change management support.
