National Influencing Programme

Aims/priorities: This programme is open to charities and CICs with an income over £25,000 working directly or with others to influence those in power to tackle the causes and consequences of complex issues and the barriers people face. There is no upper limit for income.

Rising living costs and economic, political and policy challenges are making it much harder for many people. But for people already facing complex issues, the systems designed to support them are not fit for purpose and risk pushing them further into hardship and destitution.

Under this programme, we have three priority themes:

  • Social security system
  • Accommodation
  • Refugees and Asylum Seekers

These themes were chosen based on evidence from the small and local charities we partner with and are areas where there are significant barriers to overcome and where change is needed the most.

Who can apply? Charities and CICs with an income over £25,000

Grant amount: £30,000 - £150,000 for up to three years.

Application process: Read the eligibility information in the guidance document for further information about these themes and what they are looking for.

If your work meets their criteria, they encourage you to get in touch with them for an initial phone call before submitting an Expression of Interest. You can request a call by emailing them.

You will also need to complete a short Applicant Information Form and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Form that includes contact information for your application and details of any partners.
