Media Skills Training Opportunity

Centre for Wellbeing, Training and Culture (CWTC), a charity based in Rochdale, which aims to support young people between 19-24 years in Greater Manchester and provide a range of skills development activities to support young people into the media industry.   

CWTC have secured funding to deliver a media skills training opportunity, which includes a range of Taster sessions in the following Modules: 

  • Introduction to Film Making 
  • Career Development and Employability skills  
  • Professional behaviour in an Office  
  • Marketing Products and Services  
  • Introduction to Personal budgeting and money management  
  • Audio Software 
  • Building a social media Plan 

It can adopt to dates and times for the training at our centre based at 1 East Street, Rochdale. OL16 2EG, or provide sessions at your venue.

It provides two sessions of 3 hrs each for each of the modules by trained by qualified and experienced tutors.  

Entry is free with an interest in media.  

This project will end in December 2021, so places are limited.

As progression, after these taster sessions learners can go on to free accredited courses of the subjects they have participated.
