Masonic Charitable Foundation Hospice Grants 2023/24

Aims/priorities: The funding is intended to support adult hospices in testing approaches to improve transitional care for young people with the aim of addressing gaps in the access to and provision of short break/respite care as well as enabling equity.

Who can apply? To be eligible, organisations must be adult hospices based in England, Wales, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man and members of Hospice UK.

Grant amount: Total available funding in this grant round is £400,000. It is expected that between 10 to 15 grants will be awarded in this round.

Grants of up to £40,000 are available to support projects running over a period of 18 months. This allows for up to three months setup phase and 12 months project delivery – with a further three months to cover any unforeseen delays mid project.

Only one application can be considered from each hospice.

Hospice UK is implementing a new grants management system. The online application form will be available on the website from 5 December 2023.

Deadline: Monday 5 February 2024, 5pm.  Applicants will be informed whether or not they have been successful at the end of March.
