Electrical Safety Fund

Aims/priorities: This fund aims to support projects that focus on tackling risks associated with electrical products, increasing the public’s awareness of electrical safety, and promoting changes in behaviour to keep people safe in their homes.

Who can apply? The following can apply:

  • Fire and rescue services.
  • Trading standards authorities.
  • Community safety organisations.
  • Schools and other educational institutions.
  • Other not-for-profit organisations.  

Only one application per organisation will be considered.

Grant amount: A total of £250,000 is available.

Grants of up to £5,000 are available.

Grants of up to £10,000 may be considered for joint or larger projects.

Application process: Guidance notes and an online application form are available from the Electrical Safety First website.

Awards will be announced in the week commencing 30 October 2023.

Deadline: Sunday 22 October, 2023, midnight.
