Curzon Ashton Football Club is opening the doors of the Tameside Stadium this Christmas Day to offer a free cooked breakfast with some entertainment. The event will run as a drop in and everyone is welcome. They aim to engage with those who are socially isolated, lonely, homeless or simply those that fancy getting out and about. They are looking for the following volunteers:
- Drivers who would be happy to provide a lift to some less mobile community residents between 9am - 2pm on the day. Typically this will include two time slots – 9am - 11am and then 1pm - 2pm
- Befrienders - literally to be there and engage those who attend the event.
