• Glodwick Cricket Club Warm Bank

    We have committed to run a Warm Bank at Glodwick CC every Tuesday from 15th November until the end of March. It will run from Noon until 4.30 pm and provide a warm, safe space for people. We will provide tea, coffee and a basic, warm, nourishing meal. We will signpost people to help as required through the OMBC toolkit and provide reading material, games, TV and wi fi access.

During the last twenty years the club has earned an enviable reputation for promoting social cohesion and having one of the best junior sections in Lancashire. During this period the participation in cricket nationally has fallen, particularly in urban areas. Glodwick Cricket club has been able to buck that trend.
