    Organisation Profile:

    The group provides a free jigsaw loan facility and was created for members of the community who enjoy doing jigsaws, i.e. aged 16 years and over.

    I started the group via a marketing campaign on Facebook and have slowly built up the group users since September 2021.

    I rely entirely on donations from the general public of jigsaw puzzles, these are counted, catalogued and photographed to be displayed on our Facebook page, where it is indicated if each puzzle is available or on loan.

    The public view the puzzles on the Facebook page and message me when they would like to loan a puzzle, providing the puzzle number and we then organise a suitable time and date for collection.

    I also offer a delivery service for members of the local community with mobility issues, who are unable to collect.

    My first coffee afternoon/jigsaw exchange is planned for 18th May 2022 and each 3rd Wednesday of the month thereafter at Springhead Community Centre. I also attend a monthly coffee afternoon session at Lido House to provide the service to members of the community and have members of the public attending from surrounding areas in Oldham and Tameside.
