Hosted by: Oldham Diabetes Voluntary Support Group
    Organisation Profile:

We provide help, education, advice and practical support to people with diabetes, their families, friends, carers and the general public and are not affiliated to any charity.

We have friendly, informal meetings on the first Wednesday in every month at the Anglo West Indian Club at 13 Primrose Bank, just off Ashton Road and we make no charge for attending.

It costs nothing to join and membership is open to all, irrespective of age, ethnic background, religion, gender, and physical or mental ability.

We provide an outreach service in giving diabetes awareness talks to individuals, schools, GP surgeries, companies, faith and social groups, lunch clubs, local councils, Greater Manchester Police amongst others. To date we have given talks to over 2000 people.
