Petrus Community are a homelessness charity providing support services to people with multiple and complex needs, experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness, rough sleepers or those who are social isolated. Our aim is to end homelessness and create safe spaces where all people can flourish.
An integral part of our day services is to provide a variety of groups/ sessions that offer structured activities that incorporates health and wellbeing, arts, crafts, life skills and an opportunity to explore a range of opportunities that are available across Petrus and our local community.
We aim to provide a safe environment where individuals can take part in a range of creative activities, which will support improvement of self-esteem and confidence whilst experiencing meaningful activities that are beneficial to health and wellbeing.
We provide a women’s only safe space two days a week at Petrus Hub, where women have access to support that is relevant to their specific needs in terms of health, wellbeing, and social engagement.
The purpose of this role is to provide support to the team at Petrus Hub to support the provision of this service.

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:
Support with planning and delivery of creative arts and craft sessions.
Training:
Support with researching, planning and delivery of health and wellbeing awareness sessions.
Support volunteers and staff with setting up session activities with resources and materials and clearing up post activity. Ensuring area is ready for next activity / group.
