Action Volunteer - Tin Collections (Rochdale)
Play your part and make a difference - Static collection tins are located across Rochdale and surrounding areas in a variety of local businesses and are a significant sustainable source of funds for the charity. We are looking for volunteers to assist with collecting tins from shops, pubs, restaurants and other businesses. The role is ad hoc and flexible around your availability and how large an area you would like to cover. It typically takes a few hours a week or you can Volunteer 2 half days per month etc...it really is up to you!

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:
What you’ll get up to
• Liaising with businesses to find out if they need a tin emptying
• Responding to any requests to empty a tin within your designated route
• When needed, counting and banking the money you have collected
• Invite more local businesses within your area to have a collection tin on site
Training:
• Support and training to improve and learn new skills (Training will be provided for technical aspects of the role), together with certified online training around H&S/GDPR (support provided)
Requirements: Own vehicle required, Driving license
