Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:

Our trained volunteers deliver activities to patients on the hospital wards to promote wellbeing. We offer a very wide range of activities including pottery, glass painting, creative writing, papercraft, textiles etc. Each activity package is tailor made for each patient on admissions.

Tasks include:
• Setting up and facilitating activities for the patient’s wellbeing whilst in hospital.
This may include glass painting, pottery, creative writing, digital photography, textiles, or any other art form that the volunteer can offer.
• Asking people to give feedback after completing the arts sessions.
• Being involved in social and fundraising events

Specific skills and requirements.

An interest in arts or general activities
• Experience or enthusiasm for delivering arts/activities to small groups or individuals
• A flexible, person-centred approach.

You must have Therapy experience with a Level 3 or working towards a level 3 in a massage or complementary therapy to provide Massage, Reflexology, or Reiki.
