Friends of Royton Linear Park Gardening Group
To assist the FORLP Gardening Group with the maintenance and improvement of Royton Linear Park (aka the old railway line?) which runs from the Shaw Rd tunnel to Higginshaw and includes Salmon Fields lake and path to Sunfield Cresent for the benefit of the community and its wildlife.

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:
A variety of outdoor gardening jobs - mulching and pruning fruit trees and bushes, pruning and trimming hedges, planting bulbs and plants, sowing seeds, weeding and clearing overgrown land. All work is weather dependent.
Training:
Training on use of hand tools and basic gardening tasks will be given.
