Complimentary Therapist - Willow Wood Hospice

This is a key role offering Complimentary Therapies to our patients and carers. The therapies can aid relaxation and a feeling of wellbeing, which can then help with physical and emotional symptoms such as pain and anxiety.

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:

• To administer Complimentary therapies to patients and carers

• Administer complimentary therapies such as Massage, Reiki, Aromatherapy and Reflexology

• Stock take of essential oils used and reporting of any equipment safety concerns

• Applicants need to hold approved qualifications for complimentary therapy

• Be aware of and sensitive to individual patient needs, reporting any concerns to day services staff, but appreciating the guidelines on confidentiality
• Complete session notes
• In House Training
