Volunteer Can Collectors - Willow Wood Hospice

We need people to distribute and monitor our collection cans in the local community. This may be local shops, pubs and restaurants etc.
When can volunteers volunteer? Weekly, Fortnightly

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:

What will I be doing?

• Visit local businesses to find new locations to place our collection cans, in your agreed collection area
• Visit all can venues minimum of twice per year to exchange cans, and return cans to the hospice
• Provide the Income Generation office with accurate details of can locations, and new cans issued
• Raise awareness of the Charity and our work.

Skills/experience required
• Personal and friendly manner
• Organised approach to record keeping
• Honest trustworthy nature
• Confident to approach businesses and organisations who may be able to take a collection tin
• Car driver preferred

Training:
Requirements: Own vehicle required
Areas of Interest: Community, Customer Services, Disability, Event, Health and wellbeing, Marketing, Older people, Veterans and Armed Forces
