Volunteer Cyclists

Rochdale Cycling Without Age takes older people who have mobility issues and are feeling lonely or socially isolated out on cycle rides in a specially adapted bicycle known as a Trishaw. Volunteer cyclists will provide a safe, slow bicycle ride, listening to the passengers stories, chatting and providing companionship. The passengers have great fun and so do the cyclists and it is a really uplifting experience for both parties. The Trishaws are electric and so cyclists do not need to be super fit to volunteer.
