Gardening Volunteer
Purpose of Organisation: We provide 3 supported houses for people with serious and enduring mental illnesses.
Volunteer Role: gardening/houseplant assistant or instructor
We have small outside spaces at our properties. At one property (Audenshaw) there is someone we support who is an ex- tradesman and could help build a raised beds. Tenants can also grow houseplants.

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:
We need volunteers to work with the people we support in creating veg and flower beds, growing houseplants, using outdoor containers andlearning about plants and growing.
Time commitment: Initially 2 hrs pw, to be reviewed and increased if mutually desired after a month. Ok though if volunteer doesn’t wish to increase!
Possible Locations: Audenshaw and Hyde.
Areas of Interest: Community, Health and wellbeing, Mental Health
