League of Friends café volunteer - Tameside General Hospital
The League of Friends café provides a refreshment service for the patients who are visiting the outpatients department in Tameside Hospital. The service helps to raise funds which are then given to the Trust to purchase items for the hospital and to provide patient comfort and care. The service has worked with the Trust in a very successful partnership for over 50 years and provided over £1million pounds to help the Hospital during this time.

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:
volunteers are needed to make and serve hot and cold drinks, sell snacks, help keep the cafe and food preperation area clean and tidy
