Chaplaincy Volunteers - Tameside General Hospital

Chaplaincy Volunteers enhance the care given by the multidisciplinary team of staff to patients and those important to them. Chaplaincy Volunteers minister alongside paid staff to provide non-medical support ensuring the best possible service and care for patients and those close to them. Chaplaincy volunteers support all patients, their families and staff members regardless of their faith or belief system. It is not the role of the chaplaincy team, whether volunteer or staff member, to proselytize to any patients, their families or staff members at any time. We are there to listen and offer spiritual and emotional support to all people within the Trust.
