Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:

Main duties include:
• Opening and closing the shop
• Ensure volunteers sign in and out
• Record all absences
• Allocate tasks to volunteers and supervise their completion
• Ensure all donations received are sorted and distributed
shop floor – storeroom- other charities/partnership – recycling - disposal
• Ensure items on shop floor are dated, to ensure for efficient stock rotation
• Ensure the shop is well stocked, clean and tidy
• Ensure all stock on shop floor is current
3wk shop floor - 1wk reduction rail - other charities/partnership – recycling – disposal
• Ensure stock on sale meets with seasonal changes, national and local celebrations and festivals
• Ensure shop is cleaned and is tidy and ready for opening
• Report any purchases needed to Julie Deeley
• To be aware of and bring any operating issues to the monthly managers get together – with simple proposals for improvement
• Arrange for window dressing to be refreshed
• Attend the monthly managers get together

Skill and Qualifications Required:

Some supervision and retail skills would be great, but not essential
