Food Pantry Volunteer

KYP is delighted to announce that we are opening a Food Pantry for local residents and communities. This joint initiative is part funded by Action Together, KYP and other sources and is supported by RBH. As a community venture, the KYP Pantry will be operated through staff and local volunteers/residents for the benefit of the community, enabling us to open a place where residents can take part in organising and making food accessible to people facing financial challenges (due to the impact of Covid, personal circumstances and other issues) for a set, subsidised cost. The Pantry will be open to all communities and cater specifically for BAME dietary requirements. We are recruiting volunteers to support us in the planning and running of the Pantry which will operate once a week (initially). Your contributions will help us create a positive change and be a rewarding experience for all, providing a much needed service to those who need it most.
