Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:

Our Volunteer Mediators work in pairs and offer support to people experiencing conflict to help them find solutions and reach agreements that are satisfactory to everyone involved. Initially the people we work with are seen at their properties, or alternatively at an agreed location, where the mediators listen to their concerns and explain the benefits of Mediation and how it can help them. If everyone agrees a Joint Meeting will take place at a neutral venue, usually a community centre. The mediators facilitate this meeting and ensure that each person has time to speak and influence the agreement. By the end of the meeting the aim is to have an agreement in place that all parties are happy with and believe will improve the situation.
