Health and Well-being Activities Volunteer (Hyde)

We have a rewarding opportunity to join the My Recovery Tameside Drug and Alcohol Service as a Health and Well-being Activities Volunteer to assist our service users to engage with health and well-being activities, improve their physical and mental health and assist in promoting a healthier lifestyle.

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:

- To promote and facilitate health and well-being activities
- To assist in improving the physical and mental well-being of service users
- To aid in improving social networks for service users
- Provide support to service users accessing the groups

Skill and Qualifications Required:

- Non-judgemental attitude and experience of working with service users
- Understanding of drug and alcohol issues
- IT literacy, including use of Microsoft packages and databases
