Community Hive - New mental and emotional wellbeing offer for Tameside & Glossop

In December 2021 Tameside, Oldham & Glossop Mind teamed up with 42nd Street and local children and young people to create a brand new mental health offer.

The offer has been design by young people to provide support accessible in their local community, with access to walk-in support via our wellbeing coaches.

Young people aged 8 - 18 years, can access interventions such as brief intervention, coaching, wellbeing groups, families support, psychosocial support, and counselling.

The Ashton hub is walk-in based at their Ashton office at 216-218 Katherine Street OL6 7AS on a Wednesday 4pm-8pm.

Other hubs include:

  • Hyde/Glossop Longdendale High School, Spring St, Hollingworth, Hyde SK14 8LW on Monday’s 3.30pm - 6.30pm (currently bookings only).
  • Stalybridge from Stalybridge Community Hub, Grosvenor Street, Stalybridge SK15 2JN on Tuesday’s from 3pm - 7pm (currently bookings only).

All young people and families are encouraged to attend the walk-in session in Ashton on a Wednesday or call to book an appointment at the Hyde and Stalybridge Hubs.
