Queen Elizabeth Foundation Trust

Applicants for grants from the Trust should attend or have attended Queen Elizabeth’s, St Anne's Academy, Cardinal Langley RC High School or Middleton Technology schools. Grants from the Trust may be given for any purpose which promotes the education and development of the applicant (including social and physical training).

 
Middleton Relief in Need Trust

To apply, you should be a resident of the Middleton Area. You may apply if you live temporarily outside Middleton at the discretion of the Trustees. The Trust can help if you are facing financial hardship or distress. Provide either the funds for a specific purpose or supply goods or services, either directly or via a local supplier

 
Middleton Educational Trust

Verifying partners  can apply for you. One central pot for everyone in Rochdale Borough. Local charities and organisations then work directly with individuals who are homeless, and apply for funds to pay for items they need.

 

Household Fund

Fund can be accessed by verifying partners for those in financial need. Supermarket vouchers, fuel vouchers, and white goods (gas and electric cookers, fridge and washing machine)

Real Change

The Vicars Relief Fund

The VRF helps those who are homeless or vulnerably housed through small-sum, rapid response grants to prevent eviction or access accommodation. Frontline workers can apply on behalf of their clients for grants to help prevent eviction (of up to £350) or access accommodation (of up to £500). Frontline workers can apply through an online portal  on behalf of service users.

 

Family Action Grants

Our small grants programmes focuses on the two areas of Welfare and Education..  There are no affiliation educational institutions in the Greater Manchester region, therefore, the educational Grants can't be accessed. Our welfare grants programme primarily provides grants for essential personal and household needs to assist families and individuals with low incomes, particularly those living on benefits.

Both British Gas customers and non-customers can apply for grants to clear domestic gas and electricity debts owed to British Gas or suppliers other than British Gas.
