Tameside Women and their Families Centre
Tameside Women and Their Families Service focuses on supporting women and their families who are:
• Victims/survivors of domestic abuse.
• Dealing with mental health issues.
• Suffering with substance abuse.
The service also contributes to reducing re-offending, ensuring offenders complete their community orders and licenses.
The overall aim is to develop better health and wellbeing for women and their families in the Tameside borough.
The centre also has a volunteer programme, offering comprehensive training and support, enabling women to achieve personal goals.
The service is delivered at Cavendish Mill, Ashton-under-Lyne.
Support sessions are managed by Jigsaw Support and provided by partners including Tameside and Glossop Mind, Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB), Minted Financial Advice, and the Royal Exchange Theatre.
