A JustHelping (JH) Collection Lead will take ownership and responsibility for organising and co-ordinating a Christmas Tree Collection. Liaising with the JustHelping’s Operations Manager and Development Manager, the Collection Lead will be involved from the initial planning stages and will support JH in overseeing the collection from start to finish. This will include recruiting volunteers, identifying collection point/s and being the main point of contact for the volunteers.

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:

• Building and managing team of volunteers;
• Identify dates for collection and report back to Operations Manager;
• Promote the collection in your local area through JustHelping or other marketing resources;
• Attend training sessions for use of the JustHelping software used for registration, mapping and routing;
• To use the resources to train volunteers on the software above;
• Identify local organisations/ causes who may support the collection, but also could be one of the beneficiaries of fundraising;
• Identify potential operational issues and address them using the Operations Handbook, or report to the Operations Manager;
• Identify local corporate sponsors who could aid with the collection. Be as creative as you want!
