This volunteer role supports the operation of our shops, with the purpose of maximising sales, profitability and the positive perception of Dr Kershaw’s Hospice. Our shop volunteers tell us they enjoy the fantastic teamwork at the stores and knowing that everything they raise supports patient care.
We also welcome applications for stock processing behind the scenes and visual merchandisers, cleaning help and more! If you have a particular skill that you think would benefit our shops, then we would love to hear from you

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do: We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers with great customer service skills and a positive attitude. A full induction and training is provided by our shop managers but you must be able to work independently.
We are recruiting for are our brand new shop, located at Hill Stores on Huddersfield Road. We do have other shops in Royton, Lees, Shaw and the Furniture Hub in Oldham.
Brand new shop, located at Hill Stores on Huddersfield Road, Oldham OL4 2RD. Slots are available Monday to Saturday, 9.30am - 1pm and 1pm - 4.30pm.
This can be a physically demanding and fast paced role as it includes sorting and pricing goods, moving stock, merchandising and using a till.
Training:
Skill and Qualifications Required: No qualifications required, just a friendly attitude and a willingness to learn.
