Retail assistant

This volunteer role supports the operation of our shops, with the purpose of maximising sales, profitability and the positive perception of Dr Kershaw’s Hospice. Our shop volunteers tell us they enjoy the fantastic teamwork at the stores and knowing that everything they raise supports patient care. We also welcome applications for stock processing behind the scenes and visual merchandisers, cleaning help and more! If you have a particular skill that you think would benefit our shops, then we would love to hear from you

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers with great customer service skills and a positive attitude. A full induction and training is provided by our shop managers but you must be able to work independently.

Current shops we are recruiting for: Lees, Shaw and the Furniture Hub.

This can be a physically demanding and fast paced role as it includes sorting and pricing goods, moving stock, merchandising and using a till.
