Volunteer Gardeners - Corrie Primary School
Corrie Primary school in Denton are looking for volunteer gardeners to support them with an outdoor project that will benefit the children of the school.
The school would like to develop a section of their outdoor area. The plan is to create a learning environment for the pupils to help them learn about the world of nature. Included in their plans are a sensory garden and a pond.
The school would like to encourage local people to come and get involved. Volunteer gardeners are needed to support with taking care of this outdoor area. Tasks may include weeding, mowing the paths, planting seeds, bulbs and watering flowers. To grow food and to support the local wildlife. There is also the opportunity to work with the children. To share gardening skills and knowledge with them.
