Place of Welcome, Coffee Morning Volunteer (St Martin's Church)

St Martin's church in Droylsden will be running a weekly Place of Welcome session every Thursday morning from 7th October 2021. This coffee / breakfast morning helps people who are isolated or struggling with their mental health by bringing them together to enjoy activities and the company of others.

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:

Volunteers are needed to support the coffee / breakfast mornings. To engage with the attendees, help those that need it to get involved with activities and to encourage members to socialise with one another. Volunteers will help prepare and serve refreshments throughout the session. Volunteers are also needed to help with setting up and clearing away after each session.

Skill and Qualifications Required:

Great people skills are a must! We are looking for friendly people to join our team that will make the sessions an enjoyable experience for all that attendee. We need volunteers that are chatty and willing to get involved in the activities we run.
