George's Kitchen - Soup Kitchen Cook

George's Kitchen is a new community project based at St George’s church in Stalybridge. We want to provide a weekly healthy meal to the most vulnerable in our community, whilst addressing additional needs arising thereby promoting a safe and caring community.

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:

Do you enjoy cooking? Would you like to help George's Kitchen and batch cook meals for vulnerable and isolated people in the local community?
prepare meals in our brand new kitchen; menus all pre-set
hours : typically one Wednesday per month between 9.30am and 2.30pm

Skill and Qualifications Required:

Volunteers must hold Food Safety qualification (free study course available)
