Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:

Main duties include:
• Opening and closing the shop.
• Ensure all volunteers sign in and out
• Record all absences
• Bank the previous days takings. Calculate the days takings, completing daily cash sheets
• Allocate tasks to volunteers and supervise their completion
• Welcome and help customers
• Ensure the shop is clean and tidy at the end of the day
• Ensure window dressing items are replaced if window display items are sold
• Report any purchases needed to Julie Deeley
• To be aware of and bring any operating issues to the monthly managers get together – with simple proposals for improvements
• Attend the monthly managers get together

Skill and Qualifications Required:

Some customer services, supervision and retails skills will be great but not essential
