Upcycling Assistant - Willow Wood Retail Distribution Centre

To Support the Online Sales team with the upcycling of donated furniture. HOURS: By Arrangement – 2-6 hours per week is desirable

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:

MAIN TASKS:
• To assist in the identification of furniture or any other items suitable for upcycling
• To strip, clean and prepare suitable furniture or any other items suitable for selling
• To paint and repair furniture or any other items suitable for selling
• To assist with furniture or any other items suitable for selling final decoration using decorative techniques

Requirements: Relevant qualification or training
Skill and Qualifications Required:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
• A natural flair for creative design and a keen interest in arts & crafts
• Ability to get along with people and work as part of a team
