The LEAP Centre - Volunteer Telephone Befriender

This project is delivered in partnership with Diversity Matters North West To deliver a telephone befriending service to adults in Tameside who are experiencing vulnerabilities, including loneliness and isolation. Estimated hours: Minimum 2 hours per week.

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:

Description of the activities you will experience:
• Making telephone calls of up to 30 minutes to provide companionship to adults experiencing loneliness / isolation.
• Completing a client contact form after each phone call
