Volunteer Gardening Buddy Work with adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities to support them to carry out general gardening activities. Such as weeding, planting, digging, harvesting, craft, other socially distanced activities.

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:

Operating hours
Monday – Friday 9am - 4pm
Hours to suit from 4+ hours per week.

Working outdoors or in undercover in the Polytunnel. There is plenty of well-ventilated and outdoor space.
All government Covid measures are in place.

• Carrying out a range of allotment duties
• Supporting adults with a learning disability to access nature inspired person centred activities, including planting, growing, harvesting, site safety and craft activities.
• Following Health and Safety standards including appropriate use of equipment also ensuring it is well maintained and kept clean.
