Parent Infant Mental Health Volunteer

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:

To deliver an exciting new project to support parents through the earliest stages of their newborn babies life, to encourage and support a family to improve bonding and attachment with their baby, to offer ante-natal and post-natal support to families with a child under 2 who are experiencing mental health difficulties.

Skill and Qualifications Required:

To volunteer with us you have to be visited in your own home for an informal interview and then complete our ‘Course of Preparation’ which is a training course delivered one day per week between 9.30am-2.30pm for 8weeks.
We require all of our volunteers to be parents or have parenting experience.
