Office Administrator

The Centre has a number of systems in place in relation to membership, room bookings and financial support. The role of the Admin Assistant is to provide admin support to the Centre Manager to operate organised office systems and practices .

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:

Membership
- Dealing with membership enquiries over the phone, in person, by email etc
- Ensure all forms are completed in line with current procedures.
- Ensure all electronic and paper systems are updated
- Issue membership cards
- Receive membership fees
- Operate an annual renewal scheme for members
- Assist with a suspended membership system

Room Bookings
- Take room bookings over the phone, in person, by email etc
- Record all bookings in the diary and send out appropriate booking forms etc in line with current procedures.
- Ensure all bookings requests are adhered to
- Arrange for appropriate key holders to open and close the centre as necessary.

Finance and Data
- Collecting registers of attendance
- Collecting records of income activity
- Recording of information onto spreadsheets
- Production of simple data charts and tables
- Counting and balancing daily activity income

Skill and Qualifications Required:

Good administration skills. Good IT skills. Numerical skills. Team player is essential. Good communication skills. Friendly and approachable manner. Flexible and trustworthy.
