Volunteer Drivers and drivers Mate play a key role in supporting The Charity shop collect / deliver items, thus raising vital funds to help us reduce homelessness in our Borough abdcollecting food for ROC

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:

Arrival by the start time and assist in the loading of vehicles and general logistics of the consignments
 Assist in accurate checking of items out for delivery with the manifest
 Leave depot and make deliveries within designated area – average 5 drops per day
 Call customers to notify time of arrival
 End of day – unload and labelling of non-deliveries
 Pick up and delevery of food items for the Community soup kitchen

Requirements: Driving license
Skill and Qualifications Required:

Good time keeping
 Customer service skills
 Confident in dealing with people on the phone and in person
 Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
 Full driving licence (drivers)
