Come and join our friendly bunch of volunteers and participants at The Hub, Alexandra Park. Whether your motivation is to kick start a new year’s resolution; trying to get out more; to meet new friends; make a difference locally; learn how to grow your own food; be more active… give our community growing sessions at The Hub, Alexandra Park a try! Some days might seem cold and miserable outside, but come and join us to see some friendly faces, have a warm drink and a chat while keeping active with some allotment volunteering tasks. Sessions in January (and beyond): Weekly from Monday 14th January 2019 1.30 - 3.30pm & weekly from Wednesday 16th January 2019 10am - 12pm

In January we will have a mix of tasks, both indoor and out, depending on the weather such as; planting, sowing, watering, improving the beds and harvesting

Skill and Qualifications Required:

All are welcome and no experience is necessary. Joining us at The Hub as a volunteer is an opportunity to learn. Find out more about how to grow your own food and take home fresh produce.
