We are looking for volunteers, who would like to provide practical support to our project and will be able to commit for at least 12 months for a minimum 3-5 hours a week.
Stay and Play runs every Monday 1.30pm - 3.00pm. and Tuesdays 1.30pm - 2.30pm

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do: • Support Right Start staff on home visits to promote Right Start services
• Assisting the Right Start team in the planning, preparation and delivery of Right Start interventions
• Actively encouraging parents / carers to participate in play activities with their children
• Assisting the Right Start team to evaluate the session
• Building positive relationships with families
• Assisting parents to attend Right Start services
• Assisting parents in attending other relevant appointments
• Assist Volunteer Coordinator to attend community events across Oldham
Requirements: Relevant qualification or training
Skill and Qualifications Required: • Good communication skills and the ability to make people feel welcome and at ease
• A good understanding of the importance of play in the development of children
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Non judgemental
• Actively promote Equality and Diversity
