Oldham wide Right Start, Children’s Centre, Community Outreach Peer Support Volunteer Champion

We are looking for volunteers, who would like to provide practical support to our project and will be able to commit for at least 12 months for a minimum 3-5 hours a week.

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:

• Actively encouraging parents / carers to engage in to the community and Right Start Services
• Support Right Start staff with leaflet drops to promote Right Start services.
• Get involved with community projects / play activities in the local community.

Requirements: Willing to travel by public transport or find own way to volunteering location
Skill and Qualifications Required:

• Good communication skills
• Good listening skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Non judgemental
• Actively promote Equality and Diversity
