Volunteer shop assistant

The Volunteer Shop Assistant is an unpaid role to provide customer service in SAWN’s charity shop. The Volunteer shop Assistant will work as part of a team at SAWN’s Charity shop based at 1 Eldon Precinct OL8 1JP. An ideal opportunity to gain fantastic work experience and meet new people whilst contributing towards an exciting and innovative international charity!

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:

• Receiving donations, sorting, valuing & pricing donated stock
• Displaying and replenishing donated stock in line with shop standards
• Pricing, displaying & ordering our Product range such as, Gifts and cards Visual merchandising & window dressing
• Providing Customer service & operating the till

Requirements: Relevant qualification or training, Own vehicle required, Driving license, Can drive a minibus
Skill and Qualifications Required:

No experience required as full training provided, but we require that you are dedicated, reliable, willing to learn & we'd love it if you can commit to a minimum of one shift per week (4 hours).
