Community and voluntary organisations working solely with the rehabilitation of offenders or ex-offenders within the UK can apply now for a Development Grant.
The Triangle Trust provides funding through its Development Grants programme twice a year to charities, not-for-profit social enterprises and community interest companies in the UK whose primary purpose is to support the rehabilitation of offenders or ex-offenders (autumn round) and unpaid carers (spring round).
The Trust would like to see applicants use these grants as part of a programme of work to strengthen their organisation by further improving their future resilience. This might be a short piece of work needing investment over a few months or a more significant programme of work requiring dedicated support for up to three years.
Grants are available from £10,000 up to £80,000 for a duration of six months to three years. The amount of funding requested must be proportional to the development that will be undertaken. A maximum of £30,000 per year or £2,500 per month for smaller developments can be requested.
Applicants should note that this is a highly competitive fund, with a total of eight organisations receiving a grant last year.
The deadline for applications is 22 October 2019 (12 noon).
