Tackling Inequalities Fund

Sport england logo

Greater Sport and GM Moving have now launched phase 3 of their Tackling Inequalities Fund. The fund is to help reduce the negative impact of Covid-19 and the widening of the inequalities in sport and physical activity, and on active lives.

Applications are now open and organisations across Greater Manchester can apply.

To ensure the fund can reach the many diverse communities across Greater Manchester, and provide an accessible application process we encourage interested applicants to apply via written, telephone or video application.

Criteria
The funding needs to be utilised to support people in one of the following target groups to be active:

  • Lower socio-economic groups
  • Culturally diverse communities
  • Disabled people, and
  • People with long-term health conditions

Applications should recognise intersectionality, and consider local gaps and barriers for women and girls, young people, older people and place. Each organisation can apply for funds up to £10,000.
