
Rochdale & District Mind is looking for experienced candidates to join its team. You will work in a sessional capacity to cover peaks in referrals and staff leave. Hours will vary depending on demand for the service. You will need to be experienced in mental health work and ideally one or more of the following:
- Asylum seekers & refugees
- Criminal justice system
- Homelessness
- Drugs/alcohol
- BAME – including language skills
- Dementia and or carers of those with Dementia.
Wellbeing workers manage a caseload of clients, they carry out assessments and reviews and record client information. One to one work with service users and facilitate support groups and signposting to relevant services. A knowledge of local services would be useful but not essential.
Hours are between 9am and 10pm weekdays and weekends. You are welcome to apply for just days/evenings/weekdays/weekends.
Contract type: Sessional
Working hours: Hours vary depending on the service - Monday – Saturday, 9am-10pm
Salary: £22,175 - £23,660 p/a pro rata
Location: Rochdale and surrounding areas
