Action Together are recruiting for a Senior development Officer based in Tameside to provide practical up to date organisational development support, advice and training to voluntary and community organisations (VCOs) in Tameside. This role will  include assisting VCO’s to maximize the impact their work can have through effective operational delivery, development and networking. Additionally the Senior Development Officer will also support VCO’s to secure the resources they need to meet the needs of their beneficiaries.

Salary: NJC scale SC 23-25  £26,999- £28,785

Term of Contract: Permanent 

Hours: 36 hours per week

Line Manager: Volunteering and Development Coordinator

Main contacts: Voluntary, Community and Faith Groups, Council officers and councillors, other staff and volunteers within Action Together and the general public.

Responsible for: No staff
